Communications giant BT is to create more than 400 jobs in areas including Newcastle through the launch of its new sports TV service.
Jobs will be created in contact centres in Accrington, Canterbury, Doncaster, Truro, Warrington, Newcastle, Glasgow and Dundee.
The launch of BT Sport, which will show 38 live Barclays Premier League matches, will also safeguard the employment of almost 200 staff being retrained to work on customer support.
