A woman who sent abusive messages to the family of a two-year-old girl who went missing more than 30 years ago will not be going to jail.
Donna Wright from Spennymoor claimed that she was missing Katrice Lee who disappeared in 1981.
Wright, who is bi-polar, sent messages to a facebook page which the family had set up as part of the search for Katrice.
She was given a 12 week suspended sentence after appearing before a judge via video link.
