Mentor scheme to help North East business

Communications giant BT has launched a business mentors programme aimed at helping small and medium sized companies, in which a North East business will be involved.

Pins and Ribbons, a manufacturing firm in the region, along with Norfolk-based CUP Classic Cars, have been chosen as the first mentors.

"The aim of the programme is to work with successful entrepreneurs to inspire and help closet entrepreneurs seriously look at how they can set up their own businesses by benefiting from the experience of people who have done it before.

"The mentors will also highlight their own learnings, and work with BT Business to help owners to understand how technology and market conditions can help their businesses thrive."
