A house has been badly damaged after a fire on Tyneside this afternoon.
It happened on Lucy Street in Blaydon shortly after 4 o'clock, and three fire engines were sent to the property which was being renovated.
No one was injured and investigations are now underway into how the fire started.

The incident near Fenrother involved a Honda Civic travelling south from Scotland and a Seat Ibiza travelling north from Morpeth.
