Teesside man raising money for family's Lyme disease appeal

A man from Teesside is raising money for a family suffering from Lyme disease.

Richard Bagley is doing a continuous gym workout all day to raise money in Loftus.

It comes after he heard the story of Adelle Huckins - who contracted Lyme disease from a tick bite when she was just 11-years-old.

She went twenty years without being diagnosed and fears that she may have passed it onto her children while pregnant.

Adelle now has long term health problems and the money will go towards treatment in Germany.

Richard Bagley told ITV News that Adelle's story had made him want to do something to help her and her family.
