Birds killed by bitter weather

Hundreds of sea birds have been found dead along the shoreline of the North East coast.

Experts believe it's due to the exceptionally cold weather.

Wildlife teams have been monitoring the number and types of species washed up at Druridge Bay, north of Blyth. They include puffins.
