Attempts to move a stranded cargo ship off the coast of Northumberland have been postponed again because of heavy seas.
The MV Danio has been stuck on rocks near the Farne Islands since Saturday morning. Efforts to move the vessel have since been hampered by adverse weather conditions.
A cargo ship which ran aground off the Northumberland coast could remain there for weeks. It hit rocks on the Farne Islands on Saturday.
An 80 metre long ship has run aground near to the Farne Islands. The MV Danio was carrying timbre from Perth to Antwerp in Belgium.
