Sunderland council hopes new camera car will be a deterrent

A car mounted with a camera will now patrol outside schools around Sunderland. It'll film any cars parked on the yellow lines and the owners could be fined £70. Sunderland City Council Leader, Paul Watson says he hopes it'll be a deterrent.

A new camera car is being introduced in Sunderland. It will patrol schools in the city to catch parents who park illegally. If they are caught on the yellow zig zag lines they could face a £70 fine.
