The Foreign Secretary and Richmond MP, William Hague, was among the two thousand strong congregation to attend Baroness Thatcher's at St Paul's Cathedral.
In his North Yorkshire constituency, members of the local Conservative Club gathered to pay their own respects.
Club President, Oliver Blease, told ITV News that although her leadership had divided the country, it was right Lady Thatcher was given a ceremonial funeral:

If there were protests, they certainly did not disrupt Baroness Thatcher's funeral nor sully what was indisputably a dignified farewell.
