This coming Bank Holiday Monday is shaping up to be the warmest day of the year so far.
It is Loftus that currently holds on to the top spot for our region with 18C on April 15th.
We are already in a warm sector with temperatures improving through Sunday. By Monday coastal areas are expected to reach just above the average at 14-17C, inland areas could reach 19/20C (68F).
Along with warm air it should be a dry day with some cloud in the west to begin - but increasing amounts of sunshine into the afternoon and evening
UV levels will be at 4 (The scale for UK goes 1-8, with 8 being the highest risk). This brings a moderate risk for most skin types but a high risk for fair skins.
Pollen counts will be high.
