Movie shot in North East stars Hollywood actor

Actor Tim Roth in new film 'The Liability' shot in the North East Credit: Corona Pictures

A new thriller which has been shot entirely in the North East, premieres tonight. Independent production company Corona Pictures filmed The Liability during November and December 2011.

It stars Tim Roth, whose credits include Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, and Jack O'Connell, who was in This is England and Skins.

North East investors in the film include Middleton Enterprises and the North East Creative Content Fund. Locations in the movie include Dunstanburgh Castle, the port of Blyth, Morpeth, Hartlepool, Darlington and Hexham.

The film will be screened for the first time this evening at the Tyneside Cinema. It's released nationwide on May 17th.
