A man has been found guilty at Newcastle Crown Court of murdering his partner's two-month-old baby boy because "he wouldn't stop crying." 24-year-old Karl Walker from Dene Road in Gateshead fatally injured Logan Ormston in March 2011.
Logan was taken to the RVI for treatment following the attack but his life-support machine was switched off the next day.
Logan's mother, Courtney Ormston, was found guilty of allowing the death of a child. Both will be sentenced by the judge at Newcastle Crown Court this afternoon.
