Officers have arrested a fourth person in connection with the murder of a man in North Shields.
The body of the 22-year-old Mantas Leonavicius was found at a property in Stanley Street, on Friday
A 21-year-old man is in custody helping police with enquiries.
The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation which has already lead to three people being arrested on suspicion of murder.
A 17-year-old and two men, aged 18 and 22, all from the North Shields area, were arrested on Saturday.
