Police have recovered a firearm during early morning raids that took place in Newcastle today.
A handgun, along with ammunition and approximately £50,000 cash was seized from The Shopping Centre at Chapel House.
Other small amounts of drugs and cash were also recovered during the raids that took place at addresses across Newcastle at dawn.
