Hundreds marched through Morpeth in Northumberland to celebrate the life of Emily Wilding Davison, buried in the town a hundred years ago. Emily Davison died after stepping in front of the King's horse at the Epsom Derby in 1913.
Events are being held to mark the 100th anniversary of the funeral of Emily Wilding Davison. The suffragette died in 1913, a few days after stepping onto the racecourse at Epsom. She was hit by the king's horse.
