Horden gun control campaign: Home Office statement

The Home Office has issued the following statement to ITV News In response to the campaign launched by Bobby Turnbull for tighter security around granting gun licenses.

"...paying particularly close attention to ensuring intelligence about domestic violence is fully taken into account when police consider firearms licence applications".

They have also confirmed that they are considering raising firearms fees and say that changing the guidance around gun control should be completed by the end of this year.
