The National Glass centre in Sunderland has had a two and a quarter million pound revamp.
The centre originally opened in 1998 but struggled financially.
It was eventually taken over by The University of Sunderland in 2010 and the hope is this latest transformation will help it to become a cultural venue of international standards.
