A dedicated teenager from our region is thought to be Britain's youngest lollipop lady after swapping her paper round for a patrol when she was seventeen.
Marie Patterson from York first applied for the post when she was 15-years-old but had to wait to don the jacket for health and safety reasons.
She left college to help care for her mother and told ITV News that the job fits in perfectly with her life.
