Three people arrested in connection with a death in Newcastle have been released on bail while enquiries continue..
At 2.18am on Saturday July 6th police received a report of a disturbance in the the Byker Wall housing complex.
Police attended and found 45-year-old Stephen Francis Mclean, a local man, lying in the street.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death isn't yet known, and a post mortem examination is due to be conducted on Sunday.
A 19-year-old man, a 26-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman who were arrested in connection with the death have now been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The woman had been at the O2 Academy on Westgate Road with friends when she was attacked on Pink Lane in Newcastle city centre.
