A man is due to appear in court charged with death by dangerous driving, after a woman was killed in Northumberland.
64-year-old Kathleen Heslop, from Prudhoe, died after she was hit by a car while walking her dog on the town's outskirts on Saturday night.
26-year-old David Paul Robinson of Woodhead Road in Prudhoe has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to report an accident and several other driving offences.
