Kate Middleton's North East family now related to future King of England

Members of Kate Middleton's extended family in the North East have said they are "over the moon" with the arrival of the new royal baby.

The Duchess of Cambridge's great-grandparents grew up in Hetton-le-Hole, in County Durham.

Her first cousin twice removed John Harrison, who still lives in the village, said it was a shock at first to realise that he is now related - however distantly - to the future King of England.
