Weather: Holiday Weekend

Mainly cloudy. Risk of further rain. Improving Sunday & Monday. (Morning radar and cloud 23rd Aug)

It's an improving story this holiday weekend, as we head into Sunday and Monday, but Saturday remains unsettled with further rain at times over the coming few hours.

Today cloudy skies dominate with the continued risk of rain - outbreaks of which could be heavy and potentially thundery. A Met Office Warning continues until 11pm tonight for the risk of 20-40mm to fall out of any very localised but torrential downpours.

A fresher high of 17-18C this afternoon but remaining fairly humid.

It's a slow improvement this evening and overnight with mild temperatures & misty low cloud

A cloudy and murky beginning on Sunday but conditions will improve and stay with us into Monday- drier and brighter across all parts of the region. It will feel warmer in the sunshine. 21C with a fresher breeze for eastern coasts.
