A grieving mother from Sunderland hopes a national television appeal tonight will finally end a 21-year battle to find out who killed her daughter.
The body of Nikki Allan, 7, was found in the basement of a derelict building three hundred yards from her home in Sunderland.
She had been battered over the head with a brick and stabbed 37 times.
Millions of viewers will see the case re-examined on BBC's Crimewatch programme.
Sharon Henderson says it marks the next chapter in her long fight for justice.
