Police have released the name of a woman who was found dead at her home on South Tyneside.
Gemma Finnegan was 24, and lived at Church View in Boldon.
Police were called to the house on Friday 13th September where they discovered her body.
A 32 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is helping police with their inquiries.
Officers are trying to build up a picture of what happened to Gemma in the hours before her death and are appealing for information.
