Riverdance was literally performed on the river today, September 27. Craig Maison and Shane Cummins have recently completed a world-wide tour with Michael Flatley's Riverdance show.
They performed with traditional Irish musicians on the Shields Ferry as it crossed the River Tyne. As Julie Harrison reports, it was to launch the 27th Tyneside Irish Festival.
