Couple appeal for help finding stolen bikes

A couple from Guisborough who had their bikes stolen after completing a US coast to coast charity cycle race are appealing for help to get them back.

In July Dave and Janice Noble spent over a month cycling the three and a half thousand miles from Seattle to New York.

They returned home to the North East in August. In total, five bikes were stolen from their garage on Friday evening while the couple were asleep.

Police said there have been a spate of bike thefts across the town.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
