Three men from Newcastle have been jailed after a burglary in the city.
The thieves entered a house at Netherby Drive in Fenham, on July 30, and stole a television and some alcohol. The offenders were disturbed by the homeowner and ran off, dropping the television nearby.
The trio were sentenced to a combined total of more than nine years in jail at Newcastle Crown Court today. Details of each offender's sentence are as follow:
- Terence Douglas Foster, 25, was handed a 40-months jail sentence
- Stephen Lee Atkinson, 26, received 37-months in jail
- Ryan William McGlen, 22, received a 32-month sentence
