Emergency services had a race against time to save the driver of a car after it rolled down an embankment and crashed through a barrier falling twenty feet onto a beach.
With the rising North Sea tide lapping the side of the car they cut her free from the wreckage. Watch Kenny Toal's report here.

The incident happened around 9.55pm at Fawdon Metro Station on Wednesday July 5.
