Detectives looking for a missing grandmother are beginning to search a stretch of river near her home in Northumberland.
Janis Hall, 65, has not been seen since she disappeared from her home in the Hexham area more than two weeks ago.
Northumbria Police officers have conducted extensive searches for Mrs Hall but no trace of her has been found.
Officers, including some from the force's Marine Unit, have joined staff from the Environment Agency to examine a stretch of River East Allen, close to Catton, the village where she lived.
Mrs Hall is described as 5ft 4ins tall ,of medium build, with short grey hair, and wearing glasses. She was also possibly wearing a green fleece coat, black trousers and a black fur Russian-style hat, police said
