Full report: Campaign to free ex-para from an Indian jail

They fought for their country and now their country must fight for them.

Stirring words from a North East MP who is stepping up the campaign to free six former British soldiers from an Indian jail.

Among them is 27 year old former paratrooper Nick Dunn from Ashington.

His family say his health is now suffering in what has been described as "squalid" prison conditions.

They are pleading with authorities to let him call home so they can speak to him.
