Iconic spectacles, plus photographs of the stars who wore them, have gone on display at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland.
The exhibition includes a selection from Oliver Goldsmith, who was commissioned to supply a wardrobe of frames to Diana princess of Wales.
Iconic photographs of stars such as Audrey Hepburn, all wearing glasses, are also featured in the museums's exhibition.
The display, at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland, opens on Saturday January 18th and continues until May 6th.
