Police have arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of wounding after a stabbing in South Tyneside. Officers were called to Simonside Hall at 2.42am on January 18. A man, with an injury to his head, and a woman, with a minor injury, were taken to hospital for treatment and discharged.
