Three men sentenced in sexual exploitation case

Three men have been sentenced for their part in a case where girls as young as 13 were sexually exploited and abused.

Sakib Ahmed from Middlesbrough admitted five counts of sexual activity with a child , taxi driver Shakil Munir was convicted of two counts of the same offence.

Today, they were both jailed for 8 years.

Ateeq Latif, 17, was convicted of two counts of arranging the commission of a child sex offence.

He was sent to a young offenders' institution for three years.

The court was told the victims were suffering considerable, ongoing damage.
