Final 'Battle Axe' parade at Albemarle Barracks

Soldiers from 74 Battery have held their annual Battle Axe parade at Albemarle Barracks in Northumberland for the final time.

The tradition of Battle Axe Day takes back more than 200 years, when the Battery helped to capture the island of Martinique from the French during the Napoleonic Wars.

Now, 74 Battery is moving to Wiltshire as part of army restructuring.

Soldiers from 74 Battery held their annual parade for the last time at Albemarle Barracks in Northumberland
