Investigations are continuing today into the cause of a fire that destroyed a church hall in the village of Meadowfield, near Durham.
The building had been closed for the past 18 months because of safety concerns. But campaigners raised thousands to try and make improvements to get it re-opened.
Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service alongside Durham Police will return to the scene later today to establish what caused the fire.
