Middlesbrough beat Birmingham 3-1

Middlesbrough enjoyed a convincing win over Birmingham City at the Riverside tonight.

Goals from Graham and Butterfield put them 2-0 up after 31 minutes but Birmingingham did get one back before the break. Things continued to go Boro's way in the second half: Tomlin sealed the victory with a close-range shot after 89 minutes.

It is the third victory in a row for Aitor Karanka's men.
