A girl, aged 14, is seriously ill after being hit by a car on a road in County Durham.
The crash happened at Fir Tree, near Crook, at 3.30pm on Good Friday.
The girl was flown by air ambulance to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle with injuries described as "critical".
