The family of a former soldier from Ashington who's been held in India on weapons charges has been told all charges have been dropped.
Nick Dunn was arrested along with five other British men in October. He was released on bail in April but was not allowed to return to the UK until charges against him were quashed.
Lisa Dunn said her brother Nick was told verbally in court this morning that he has been cleared.
She added: "I'm so relieved, I can't believe it. But I can't relax until the lawyers have been given all the paperwork from the court."
She said he is expected home in the next two weeks.
