The most seriously injured surviving soldier in the UK has been giving a talk to school children, in Gateshead, about courage.

Ben Parkinson lost his legs and was badly wounded when a tank he was travelling in was blown up, in Afghanistan, ten years ago.

He's since set up a charity to help other injured soldiers.

Pupils at Kingsmeadow School had previously written letters to him asking about his experiences and, today, got to hear about them first hand.
