Dates confirmed for Durham Lumiere 2017

Dates for the next Lumiere festival have been announced. The UK's largest outdoor light festival will return for a fifth time next year from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th November.

The free event attracted an estimated 200,000 visitors to Durham in 2015, bringing £9.6 million pounds to the local economy.

Produced by arts charity Artichoke and commissioned by Durham County Council with the support of Arts Council England, Lumiere has become a "must see" event in the North East cultural calendar.
