Great North Run 2017

Mo Farah does it again, claiming 4th Great North Run win in a row

The man described as Great Britain's greatest ever athlete has done it once again.

Mo Farah has defended his title, claiming a 4th consecutive Great North Run win.

It is the runner's 5th win at the world's biggest half marathon.

It was a close call for Farah who left it until the 200 meter mark to break away from New Zealand runner Jake Robertson

Farah finished the race in a time of 1 hour and 6 seconds.
