Cortege leaves RAF Brize Norton

The cortege carrying the bodies of the six British soldiers killed in Afghanistan has left RAF Brize Norton, where they were repatriated earlier today. The hearses will pass through the nearby town of Carterton where many of their relatives and friends are waiting.

Soldiers' bodies come home

The plane carrying the bodies of six soldiers killed in Afghanistan a fortnight ago has landed at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. The servicemen were on patrol in Helmand province when a bomb under their Warrior vehicle exploded.
