Charles Manson's 12th bid for freedom turned down
Mass murderer Charles Manson has had his 12th bid for freedom rejected. A parole hearing in California ruled he had shown no effort to rehabilitate himself. The convicted serial killer orchestrated a series of gruesome murders on consecutive nights in Los Angeles 40 years ago.
