Rio de Janeiro's port captain says that an inclination of three degrees prompted a Saturday night evacuation of about 100 workers from a Guanabara Bay oil platform.

The port captain's office released a statement that stated no petroleum has leaked from the platform owned by U.S. firm Transocean, no one was hurt and navigation has not been affected.

Transocean, which is facing scrutiny in Brazil after a November spill, briefly evacuated personnel from the drilling rig near Rio de Janeiro's coast after it listed slightly during maintenance, the company said today.
