Asked what his message was to those MPs who are critical of the Prime Minister and the Government, Nick Boles said:
I would wish that they would air those criticisms in private, in meetings, in the House of Commons next week. We have formats for that and I think, frankly, rushing into television studios to attack your own Government is never a brilliant idea.
