Hezbollah leader tells protesters to go home

The leader of the Lebanese political party Hezbollah Sayyed Hasan Nazrallah has spoken out against the reported kidnapping of at least 13 Shi'ite pilgrims in Syria.

He told the Lebanese people who have taken to the streets of Beruit in protest to go home.

He said the crisis would not be solved by burning tyres and blocking roads, and that it might be used as a pretext by others to escalate matters.

In other words, he's trying to take some heat out of the situation.
