Police presence increased at Derby house fire scene

Police said they have increased their presence on Victory Road in Derby, where six children were killed in a house fire. They added that the mobile police station will return to the area and there will be extra patrols after two people were arrested on suspicion of murder.

Derby fire parents held

The parents of six children killed in an arson attack on their home have been remanded in custoday on suspicion of murder. Mick Philpott, 55, and his wife Mairead, 31, were detained on Wednesday in connection with the attack on the house in Derby.
