The Royal Navy has said that a crew member of HMS Westminster has gone missing while his ship was docked in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
Leading seaman Timothy Andrew MacColl, 27, is from Gosport in Hampshire, and originally from Killin, in Scotland.
The father of two was last seen getting in to a taxi alone at around 2am on Sunday near a hotel bar in the Deira area. The Ministry of Defence is working with the Foreign Office and local representatives to locate him.
Leading seaman Maccoll's Next of Kin have been informed.
