Protests erupt at Egypt's High Court after Mubarak verdict

Furious protesters hurled stones at the High Court headquarters in Cairo today, protesting against a verdict issued by an Egyptian judge against the ousted President Hosni Mubarak, who has been sentenced to life in prison.

Mubarak's health 'deteriorates'

Egypt's state news agency is reporting that the health of former president Hosni Mubarak has deteriorated and he has been transfered from prison in Cairo to a military hospital. He was sentenced to life in jail on Sunday.
