Reports: 7 dead in Lebanese city of Tripoli

An army doctor has reported that 7 people have been killed and 30 wounded during clashes between pro-Assad and anti-Assad gunmen in the Lebanese city of Tripoli, according to Reuters.

Residents of neighbouring districts have fought on-off skirmishes in recent weeks, but today's death toll is the highest in a single day in Tripoli, raising fears that Syria's unrest will spill over into its smaller neighbour.
